Placing a record

1. Slide the open button forward and open the cover.

2. Pull out the tonearm until a click is heard.

   • Do this while the power is off. Turning the power on before moving the tonearm will cause the platter to start rotating.
   • Be careful not to damage the cartridge’s stylus tip, the platter, or the record.

3. Remove the 45 RPM adapter.

4. Place the record on the platter so that the center hole aligns with the spindle.

   • Place the 45 RPM adapter above the record when playing LP records.
   • Place the 45 RPM adapter below the record when playing 45 RPM records.

   

5. Close the cover.
