Supplying phantom power to the microphone input jack

When a condenser microphone is connected to the microphone input jack, perform the following operation to supply +48 V DC phantom power to the XLR plug of the microphone input jack. The following operation is not necessary if a dynamic boom microphone is connected.

1. Slide the phantom power switch to the +48V side.

   

	If a microphone not compatible with a phantom power supply is connected, do not set the phantom power switch to the +48V side. Doing so may damage the microphone.
